Professor Jagmohan Singh nephew of the iconic Indian revolutionary Shaheed Bhagat Singh. He dedicated his life to preserving and promoting the legacy and revolutionary ideals of his maternal uncle, Bhagat Singh, and his comrades. A former professor at Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana, He served as the General Secretary of the Association for Democratic Rights (AFDR) in Punjab since 1978, advocating for justice, particularly for marginalized communities, and opposing atrocities and misinterpretations of Bhagat Singh’s ideology. Jagmohan was actively involved in social and educational initiatives, such as the Youth Centre in his ancestral village, Kharkat Kalan, aimed at connecting youth with the values of the freedom struggle.
